We would like to announce the arrival of our NEW Woodland Village
Two years in the making, our unique Woodland Village compromises of eight student pods catering for up-to 48 pupils. In addition, the new Village also includes accommodation for eight teachers ensuring your school group are safe and secure within the private and secluded setting. The development nestles just 50 metres from the main Château and adjacent Villa Mathilde.

Owned by Select School Travel founder John Bowden since 1998, Château du Baffy has been in the family for nearly 30 years! Our fantastic and dedicated team have been hosting school trips at the Château since Select began 10 years ago. Our experienced French head chef Thierry, provides high-quality, delicious meals tailored to British school groups tastes and dietary needs.

I stayed here July 2022 and had a wonderful time. The location was absolutely perfect to check out all of the local historical and tourist sites. All the amazing things we did during our stay were all just a short drive away. There's fantastic access to the D-day beach landing sites, other WW2 historical landmarks, museums, stunning towns, gorgeous beaches and even an outdoor swimming pool just a 15 minute drive away. I'd definitely recommend to anybody visiting the area.

A great place for a group visit. Well located for DDay beaches and memorials. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Variety of room options from single to ‘dormitory’ which are fairly basic but perfectly adequate. All meals were good for both quality and quantity. The bar was well stocked. However the staff are fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly, helpful always on hand. Our experience with booking was very good.
