École primaire Cecil Newton, located in Creully-sur-Seulles, France, was renamed in 2019 to honor British WWII veteran Cecil Newton, who helped liberate the town. The school emphasizes remembrance and international friendship, integrating WWII history into its curriculum through memorial visits and themed activities. The school is a symbol of Anglo-French solidarity, supported by a dedicated parents’ association and local community, and continues to inspire students with lessons in history, citizenship, and global awareness.

Our ‘next generation mission’ to encourage schools visits
Two years in the making, our unique Woodland Village compromises of 13 individual Pod buildings, all situated within a tranquil setting. The development nestles just 50 meters from the main Château and adjacent to Villa Mathilde and offers guests a unique stay within the 17th Century Normandy estate. Eight of our Pods contain three double bunk beds with sleeping for up-to six in each. There is a separate shower and toilet room and individual storage facilities for each person. Four Pods contain two single beds with en-suite facilities, along with tea and coffee making and a mini fridge. Both types of accommodation are equipped with a reading light, a USB-C connector and access to the WIFI.
